JSON vs XML

Historically TRYNT Heavy Technologies has focused on the development of XML based web services and APIs. We've recently been informed of potential browse security issues that limit the usefulness of our existing line of APIs. (This can of course be avoided through the use of a local "proxy")

So we ask you, our loyal readers and api consumers, what do you prefer? Would you like to see more XML based APIs or would you like to see TRYNT move towards more JSON APIs? (Hey wait maybe you want both, damn your needy, well let us know!)

I'm preferential to XML based web services (only because I have an existing library of XML parsing/caching functions and the concept of a proxy is not "frightening" to me).

I can understand the need for JSON to overcome browser security limitations. I mean come on look at what has been happening with the SIMILE timeline project .. right?

Keep up the good work the entire Odin Assemble team is impressed with the all TRYNT work to date!
