Stock Cloud

Stock Cloud, a product of Odin Metatech, attempts to identify "business partnerships" by data-mining press releases. They use an info cloud (similar to a tag cloud) to render the results.

"A Stock Cloud is a tag cloud like display of stock ticker symbols. The larger the ticker symbol the more frequent that company distributes press releases."

In addition to their info cloud displays Odin is also making good use of the Simile Timeline API to display the collecting press releases relative to their release dates.

Because the TRYNT Stock Symbol Lookup Web Service is used by Stock Cloud we feel it's a good real world example of the web service in action.
